Conducting a meeting: distribute an agenda in advance, assign responsibilities, establish ground rules, use good people skills, keep participants on task, accept some conflict, end with a summary. Dealing with the media: anticipate questions, know your story. Stick to the facts: use a calm and positive tone. Speak in a way that is easy to understand: be truthful.
