Make connections across diverse fields of study. History is written by those in power. Women and people of color had contributions ignored. False impression that past theories were merely stepping stones to the modern (cid:498)correct(cid:499) Long fought battle for recognition & respect. Does it apply to all sub-disciplines within. Scientific psychology: process based approach, not concerned with individuals but group norms.
