Competitive exclusion principle states that no two species can coexist in the same niche. P aurelia (reach k later b/c small size) vs. p caudatum (reach k faster b/c large size) j curve then reach k and become logistic (both tested separately) Asymmetric competition when one"s fitness greater declines than other"s. Symmetric competition when both orgs" fitness decline equally.
