Important to match type of biz need with financing that can fill that need. A: it depends on size, type of business. Starts with understanding of own needs to fund growth, support operations. Graph doesn"t apply to a franchise biz with local/regional market, but more re: biz with new innovation. New and innovative = have rd mode to create new product or process. Once you make something with appeal, launch biz = startup phase, start to exploit perceived market opportunity by capturing customers, getting them to buy. Critical because having people buy legitimizes commercial appeal. Little revenue, not enough to cover expenses. If getting customers is a challenge, biz will probs die quickly (aka killing it tswiftly) If it catches on, enters the early growth stage. Exciting and financially promising, but you"re not out of the woods yet. Need to focus on marketing, sales, delighting people, ergo: Tell others about the biz and product.
