Control child with threats and punishment. choices, opportunities to make own appropriate choices. Relationship is reciprocal and a parent does not spoil the child. Clear limit; - warm & responsive & loving. Communicate why limits set; - want child to develop internal control (independent). Permissive: (ippy and let child be free spirited. Warm & loving, caring, supportive but don"t want to. Warm & loving; - don"t learn to regulate. Parents who are focused on own needs; -don"t give child love or attention. *child doesn"t get enough attention, will lead to many problems as adult. and this may be out of protection for the child.
