Document Summary

Some senses we were build with to be able to smell and see, and taste. We weren"t build to sense direction of which we are going. Really pay attention to the learning objectives. Even thought this happened so far away we are able to hear it. From hearing the twig snap we can come up with a lot of information. We can interoperate how far away it is, how heavy whatever stepped on it was. Things that are high frequency have many waves going by each second. Where things fall in the frequency spectrum determine what we can and cannot hear. The middle ear helps us equalize pressure like taking off from an airplane or while eating. The inner ear is where the transduction takes place. When sound travels down the channel of the ear drum it vibrates into the inner ear so that you can hear.
