Two-spirit: from the ojibway niizh manidoowag, a person whose gender identity embodies both a masculine and feminine spirit; a third gender. It is used by some indigenous people to describe their gender, sexual identity, and/or spiritual identity. Considered to be bestowed with special or supernatural knowledge, and thus often hold positions of prominence in indigenous society (healers, shamans, etc. ) There are lots of dualities in this play including the one between masculinity and femininity. There are ideals about appropriate female and male behaviour. It tackles images of women engaging in typically- male pursuits (women playing hockey and men baking). All of the events that happen, occur around this rock. The sound of the baby crying happened hear, so it gi(cid:448)es the idea that (cid:862)fro(cid:373) this ro(cid:272)k, the (cid:374)e(cid:454)t ge(cid:374)eratio(cid:374) (cid:449)ill (cid:271)e (cid:271)or(cid:374). (cid:863) this ro(cid:272)k (cid:449)ill (cid:271)ear the (cid:374)e(cid:454)t generation. At the end, it is revealed that this whole play has been a dream.
