A clown the wise fool: in a comic world, it is turned upside down intelligent people tend to do dumb things, while the fools end up smarter. Slapstick comedy: audience laughs at somebody else, but not if the event happens to yourself. Some comedies can be hard to follow; they rely on topical context. Shakespeare"s world is very rigid; people occupy certain positions, usually dictated by their birth, parentage, and social rank their place in the world. Comedy is a great way to mess things up. We know there is going to be a positive ending, but before we get to the end, a peculiar range of events happen, as if someone has shaken up society.
