Diadem = symbol of royalty for macedon. Added radiate crown = spiked indicate light rays, showing he was radiating light: you could compare this to osiris, who also was thought to radiate light. Trident is symbol of poseidon: as consequence of battle of raphia, he could take control of a port on the red. Sea so it could be in reference to this event. It could be more cosmic just to mean that he rules over, not only the land (radiate crown), but also the sea. Goat skin used by athena as robe and as protective dress and he is shown wearing it as well.
