Life is not completely absurd but it doesn(cid:495)t really have (cid:498)meaning(cid:499) Darwinism doesn(cid:495)t mean that we are (cid:498)slaves to our genes(cid:499) Only a fraction of our descendants are human. Genes are not the sole contributor, we have control over it. Cultural evolution has rescued us from the bad bits of our genes. We are not blank slates: we have predisposed genes, motivations, drives(sex, survival) Post at least 1 question and why you think it may be interesting- due oct 22nd. Biological perspective: we are one of 30 million species alive today. A drop in the bucket for a snapshot of time.
