Gross domestic product: the annual market value of all goods and services produced by all firms and organizations, foreign and domestic, operation within a country. How well a country is doing = large annual market value. Per capita gdp: how the changes in a countries standard of living are measured. Developing contrasts: life expectancy, infant mortality, agriculture, pollution, poverty.
