Sexual behaviour: behaviour that produces arousal and increases the chance of orgasm. Influences on sexuality: religion, science, the media. Could be a source of values and ethics for sexuality. Every religion is different and has different views about sexuality. Until science religion was used to explain sexual behaviour (until about 100 years ago). Greeks use mythology to accept homosexuality and heterosexuality. Christianity has a wide variety of beliefs most beliefs tend to be sexually repressive. Led to views of sex being shameful and unclean. Some christian religions can be more liberal towards sex. Muslims tend to view sexuality as much less repressive. Modern sex research began in the 1800"s (victorian era) During this time norm were rigid and oppressive.
