Document Summary

When it comes to classification systems, they help economists to categorize political systems along with simplifying them at the same time as well. By differentiating between them it not only allows to better understand the complicated set of facts they contain, but also help formulate and test generalities among the various data. There are 2 classification systems, democratic-autocratic and developmental, a country can fall under when it comes to how they are controlled, what they focus on, and how they are measured. When is comes to capturing economic and social issues in societies, the developmental classification system is the most ideal because it allows the government to provide their citizens with the most freedom, prosperity and opportunity. The first one is the democratic-autocratic system that is more regimes oriented. The leader in power usually comes from a monarchy or hereditary position that is more difficult to remove so power is formed among a specific elite group of people.
