Politics how communities organize and govern themselves. A process of conflict resolution in which support is mobilized and maintained for collective projects. Power the ability to control, influence, and coerce others. It is also the ability to exercise authority, that is, to have others obey out of respect for the source of command. The state sovereign power ruling over people within the boundaries of a fixed territory. The state has three components: population, territory, sovereignty. Jurisdiction those institutions, agencies, offices, which have the ultimate authority to make legal decisions in certain areas. Government a specialized activity of those individuals and institutions conducting the affairs of the state on behalf of citizens.
