Stereotypes are inevitable, but something like intelligence can be so important to a person"s life that attributing it merely to race and disguising it as a compliment is more than a stereotype it"s an outright insult . Women are typically seen as kinder, gentler, and more nurturing than men. Seen as disadvantages in the occupational context. A set of negative beliefs, attitudes, and judgments about whole categories of people and about individual members of those categories. Comes and goes as social conditions change. Anti-muslim sentiments with the rising incidents of global terrorism.
