Related to issues of social strati cation, social mobility, and intergenerational mobility. Social strati cation: a society"s categorization of its people into rankings of socioeconomic tiers based on factors like wealth, income, race, education and power. Social mobility: the ability of individuals/groups to move within a social hierarchy with changes in income, education, occupation, etc. Intergenerational mobility: movement within/between social classes and occupations, the change occurring from one generation to the next (horizontal or vertical; ex. father son, mother daughter) Homelessness: a situation of an individual of family without stable, permanent or appropriate housing, or the immediate prospect, means, and ability of acquiring it. Hidden homeless : living temporarily with others but without guarantee of continued residency or immediate prospects for accessing permanent housing. The balance of meeting nancial challenges as private trouble vs. public issue. Social justice issue (people are not paid properly and getting paid less) Socio-economic vulnerability (being paid low wages continuously)
