Physical symptoms w/no physical cause psychological eiology to physical symptoms. Not very common, but they illustrate the very close connecion between psychological and physical funcioning. Psychological factors afecing other medical condiions mood will impact your recovery from other medical condiions. One or more symptoms of altered voluntary motor or sensory funcion: doesn"t involve relex acivity, things we decide to do in terms of moving body or perceiving world around us. Symptom incompaible with recognized neurological or medical condiion - no cause for it. Symptoms not beter explained by another medical or mental condiion. Symptom causes clinically signiicant distress or impairment, or warrants medical evaluaion (it relects the part that when these symptoms show up, you have to make sure they aren"t physically caused) Speciicaion of symptom type: weakness or paralysis in one/more limbs ex. Cannot more legs but there"s no underlying reason for that: abnormal movement ex.
