Signs of disturbance persist for at least 6 months, including 1 month of symptoms from list. Schizoaffective disorder and depressive or bipolar disorder with psychotic features have been ruled out. Disturbance not due to substance or another medical condition. Disorders in form or content of thought. Poverty of speech content (say very little reduced speech yes no ) Clanging (playing with sounds like babies, bang bang ) Perseveration (repeating same words over and over again)
