A life worth living: does not propose a determinate list of things that makes a life worth living: says lists can be controversial, however, two things can be assumed: A life worth living has more to it than simply being alive or being conscious. Rather, he is only arguing that if someone"s life is worth living, then this serves as one reason why it would be wrong to directly kill them. Glover: one"s desire to live does not provide a conclusive test for determining whether one"s life is worthwhile, but it does play a key role in determining the worthiness of someone"s life. Problematic: not conclusive but does have a role. Is a longer life worth living better than a shorter life that is also worth living: glover: yes for two reasons: Quality of life is not always separate from its length: many projects are not worth undertaken without a good length of time to complete them.
