Says he"s known socrates for years and he still doesn"t know him. Says he"s like no one else in the past. He"s arrogant, rude etc and that you won"t nd anyone living or dead like him. Makes him feel like no more than a slave. Socrates is the only man in the world who has made him feel shame. Socrates loves beautiful boys but doesn"t have sex with them; seduction is no more than a game. Socrates" life is no more than a game. Thinks he can get what he wants by letting socrates seduce him. Unsuccessful seduction has only in amed alcibiades, not deterred him. Means something di erent, usually the opposite, from what is said. True in one way, and false in another. E. g. pretends to be in love with alcibiades until alcibiades has fallen in love with him. Alcibiades is a tyrant in training only understands socrates on a super cial level.
