Pharmaceutics- the science of preparing, using, or dispensing medicines. Pharmacokinetics- focuses on movement of drugs throughout the body after they are administered. Pharmacodynamics- area of pharmacology concerned with how drugs produce change in clients and the differences in client responses to medications. Therapeutic classification- method of organizing drugs based on their therapeutic usefulness in treating a particular disease. Pharmacological classification- refers to the way the drug works at the molecular, tissue and body system level. Addresses a drugs mechanism of action, or how a drug produces its effect in the body. More specific than a therapeutic classification and requires an understanding of biochemistry and physiollgy.
