Network radio begins to change patterns of consumption from regional to national. Different radio stations for different age groups. All music is played live on the radio; records are not played. Records didn"t have good quality when played on the radio: success of radio. Records were really fragile, they can easily break. Radio becomes popular and records hit the verge of extinction.
