Younger, high skilled workers have more success when it comes to retraining because they"re used to the process of going into school and knowing it"ll translate into something when in the workforce: donald trump. States that swung towards trump, now have the most robots. When workers become mad ex. due to needing to be retrained, they turn to backlash politics. Accept technology is coming, don"t fight it, but try to control it towards the greater good. Don"t resist it as in the past, own it. Coming apocalypses : sees a number of food supply, jobs, transportation and climate change apocalypses, to respond effectively, take them all together. Technology will be needed for better food, energy, transportation and communication supply. Technology can be the answer, or some think it"ll make things worse. Failures of old left thinking: old thinking won"t resolve any issues, something bigger is needed.
