He told his international union people to go to the congress and they all had majority to institute their principles with clear lines of representation, they become an organization fully inline with gompers. There was loss on control, but there was thing he made happen, then he wasn"t that engaged. Operates on leverage in number, skills, mass mobilizations of unions. Socialists; they want to lead a mass mobilizations of unions, they are becoming more influential, Gomper and craft workers were more skilled, gompers let them into the afl but they"re a minority as well as regionally. Bc; socialism becomes more mainstream as well as industrial unionism. Bunkhouse men; people who worked in larger industires like mining/limber they would all have solidarity.
