Non-small cell lung cancer (nsclc) accounts for 85% of lung cancer cases. Majority of cases present with advanced disease, and fewer than 15% live longer than 5 years following diagnosis. Conventional treatments for lung cancer include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, cancer growth inhibitors can be effective, but do not always work. Resveratrol polyphenol in grape skin and seeds: In france, although they have the same diet (more or less) as north america and rest of europe, but have much less cardiovascular disease. May be attributed to red wine consumption. Resveratrol found to have significant cardiovascular benefits in vivo and in vitro. Antioxidant converts free radicals into harmless, unreactive compounds in body.
