Previously defined as fixed false beliefs based on an incorrect interpretation of reality, but this can be a bit tricky. Why: not all beliefs are false sometimes your wife really is cheating on you. 4: sometimes false beliefs are not delusional the earth is flat, sometimes fixed beliefs are not provable i. e. religious belief. These beliefs can be fragmented and difficult to understand for others, not coherent belief systems.
