Primarily utilize psychotherapy, personality tests, ink blots etc. capable of doing. Others: social workers, psychiatric nurses, addictions counselors, life coaches, etc. psychotherapy* Symptoms: acute - positive (visible), chronic- negative (not permanent, episodes, long lasting) Positive symptoms: hallucinations, most commonly auditory (commentary, instructions, two voices fighting, degradation), often frightening, but not always. Important to talk to people who hear voices. ask how they feel about it.
