Early humans obtained food through hunting and gathering. Agriculture originated in multiple hearth and diffused in many directions. Agriculture: is the deliberate modification of earth"s surface through cultivation of plants and rearing of animals to obtain sustenance or economic gain. Originated when humans domesticated plants and animals for their use. The direction and frequency of migration depended on the movement of game and the seasonal growth of plants at various locations. Groups assumingly did communicate concerning hunting rights intermarriage and other subjects. Kept peace by steering clear each other"s territory. Million people still survive by hunting and gathering rather than agriculture. Examples= spinifex (aka pila nguru) people who live in australia, sentinelese people in india islands, and the bushmen who live in botswana and nambia. Don"t know why agriculture came about but happened around the world. Early centers of crop domestication include southwest asia sub-saharan africa, latin america, east asia and south east asia.
