Ex) nature sounds, movie soundtracks of fragments that will potentially inspire another written work. Chekov"s gun-> (cid:498) you"re not supposed to put a loaded gun on stage if nobody is going to fire it. (cid:499) If there is no purpose for it don"t use it. Sometimes you"ll get attached to something you wrote but it doesn"t fit into what you"re writing anymore-> discard it, or cut and paste it into a document. Up to the reader to determine what the story is about. A couple discussing something-> most often guessed or inferred to be an abortion. Literal/ figurative setting of a cross roads about this decision of whether to keep the baby or abort it. Interesting to learn about the character and situation at the same time through conversation. A micro flash fiction (less than 500 words) A baby with white thin skin-> like paper. Not realistic-> fairytale like (snow white-> fragility and paleness)
