Survival of the fittest-> the two other life boat people fought and they both died. He is possibly on the island of arica in chile. Prendick is deeply humane, vulnerable, didn(cid:495)t fight for his life, passive-> saved him. We don(cid:495)t know where he is and neither does he. Prendick still doesn(cid:495)t know where he is when he(cid:495)s on the island.
