Acquired (develop following a normal period of sexual funcion) Situaional (afect sexual funcioning in only some situaions) Persistent or recurrent lack of sexual desire or aversion to sexual contact. Litle or no sexual interest more common among women. Appreciate afecion and inimacy but no interest in genital simulaion. Issues: no standard deiniion of low sexual desire and many impose a male model of what is normal sexually on women. Hormonal deiciencies, anxiety, depression, dissaisfacion with relaionship, all contribute to lack of desire.
