Mimetic escalation: eg. when people are ghting and voices are raised. Mimetic violence: males respond to violence with violence. External mediation: (nonrivalrous imitation) - model is too far from subject either socially or in time/space eg. michelle obama. Internal mediation: (rivalrous imitation) - model is close to the subject socially and in time/space.
