Time, energy, resources (you have the time and money for better food) Lower ses have poorer behavior possibly because of stress, lack of good role models, etc. We need to focus on social groups rather than individuals, because behaviors are driven by social status/strata rather than personality. Smoking, cholesterol, etc: they affect multiple disease outcomes, such as: Multifinal: a single cause impacting multiple outcomes: equifinality multiple pathways leading to the same outcome, flexible resources. Sole criterion for fundamental cause theorem to work : Does not apply to diseases like huntington"s disease, because that is not preventable and is genetic, therefore has nothing to do with social stratification.
