Note that presence of adhd is associated with significant difficulties: children with adhd have some of the worst interpersonal relationships among peers. In teenage years, they have a much higher risk of having accidents due to impulsivity; for example, interferes with learning how to drive (much more likely to be in car accidents) Individuals with adhd have higher mortality rate especially at a younger age. Hyperactivity/impulsivity: fidgets with hands or feet or squirms in seat, often leaves seat in classroom or in other situations in which remaining in seat is expected. Is often on the go or often acts as if driven by a motor : often talks excessively, often blurts out answers before questions have been completed, often has difficulty awaiting turn.
