Document Summary
Lecture 23: the need to belong (april 3rd) Updates: optional paper deadline extended to april 10th : you can bring it in class, second mid-term exam: 4 students got perfect scores, so possible to do well! A couple minor adjustments were made on ambiguous questions. On one version of the exam, some students did not answer the short answer question. For every student, they calculated two grades based on multiple choices only or on both multiple choices and short answer question. Plan: the need to belong, the (fundamental) need to belong (baumeister and leary, 1995, emotional consequences of rejection, other ways to fulfill the need to belong, the need to belong (baumeister and leary, 1995) 1: the need to belong, the (fundamental) need to belong (baumeister and leary, 1995) We talked about attachment theory and our social relationships. We are going to finish this discussion by talking about our need to belong.
