Watched a ball or an agent create order and disorder. What it takes for babies to see something as social. Eyes facing the direction it was going. It gets itself there on its own. Infants were assigned to see a ball of or an agent. Neat/messy array of objects, a screen would block objects, ball would roll behind screen. Messy to neat or neat to messy. The belief could be wrong, but it will still drive what you do: two key types of mental states, either a correct or incorrect understanding of the world, beliefs and desires lead to outcomes. My desire leads to my intentions, leads to my actions, leads to: understanding that others have goals, desires my outcome, woodward, 1998, 5-month-olds and 9-month-olds, hand condition (1) Hand reaching for one of two objects (ball or teddy bear) Test: switch location of ball and bear.
