Anosmia significant loss in the ability to smell : most common from head trauma, allergies, genetics, prescription drugs, smell and taste have a dependency on each other. Vestibular sense: system located in the inner ear that allows us to make adjustments to bodily movement and postures. Semicircular canals: three of them, part of the vestibular sense located in right angles to each other to provide information in movement in all directions. Kinesthetic sense: receptors that are located in muscles and joint, provides information about limb motion. Cutaneous sense: system of receptors that are located in the skin, provides information about touch, pressure, pain and temperature. Divided attention: the ability to process more than one source of stimulation at the same time. Pattern perception: the ability to discriminate amongst different figures and shapes.
