Provost"s dilemma: she won"t give up her virginity, angelo is inflexible about claudio"s fate, many laws that have never affected citizens in the past are being put in place. Isabella implores the duke to save angelo saying that he was a good guy before he got obsessed with her: she is moved from sanctity to humanity over the course of the play. Video clip: she wants to help her brother but she doesn"t want to give up her virtue, her intentions are pure and true, she really does want to help him and would if there were any other way.
