Laozi and zhuangzi , two founders of daoism: laozi: claimed to be author of daodejing/tao te ching. Arriving in the west, laozi taught daoism, where it was called buddhism (i. e. this legend teaches that daoism is superior to buddhism: zhuangzi: author of zhuangzi. Was zhuangzi dreaming that he was a buterly, or was the buterly dreaming that it was. The schools: confucianism , daoism/taoism , legalism , logicians , mohists , yin-yang and five forces , others. 1: all schools claimed heritage in the zhou dynasty but just because the founder lived at that ime, it didn"t mean there was a school; schools were created centuries later. Zhuangzi criicises confucius a lot, but daoist followers might also abide by confucianism.
