Gender stereotypes: beliefs about how the male and female differ an oversimplification. We treat babies differently from birth: how do adults treat a baby based on it being a boy or girl and do men and women treat babies differently? gender. Men tended to interact with the baby without being handson; females tended to pick the baby up, cuddle it and speak more to it.
