Peasants didn"t get much of an economic benefit from it: constitution says, all men are born equal by natural law, they possess unalienable rights. Could be applied to any country"s circumstances: passive citizens and active citizens. Peasants, labourers, etc don"t get the right to vote. Older than 25 who pay taxes worth 3 days of wages could vote.
