Metaphysics, philosophy of mind and philosophy of religion are primarily concerned with core existence questions such as what exists in the world and what is consciousness . Epistemology and philosophy of science are more concerned with whether if we can really know anything , if so, how do we know that we know those things . Logic and philosophy of language are concerned with how to put our reasons together into sound deductive or inductive arguments. The grouping of value theory that consists of moral philosophy, political philosophy and aesthetics are concerned with values (ex. how do we live a meaningly life, how do we treat other people). Within ethics, there are different subtypes of ethics. Descriptive ethics involves describing and explaining the moral views that are in fact accepted by real people in the real world. People who are engaged in descriptive ethics might come from disciplines from the sciences, social sciences, anthropology.
