Relations between data and hypotheses from the authors we"ve looked at: we focused on what is possible and what is not in objective evidence, hume: Investigate the possibility of rationally justifying induction: hempel"s ravens paradox: Examine whether it is possible for common beliefs about evidence to compatibly exist: goodman and grue: Study the possibility of developing an inductive logic that focus on argument form and not type of content: these focuses are abstract and drift away from the actual practices of science.
