Eg 1. the height of a person (variable of interest is height) The heights of 10 individuals (source of change is individuals themselves) A person"s political party of interest (source of change is time) 10 people"s political parties of interest (source of change is indviduals -10 people) Experimental unit: is an individual or object on which the value of the variable is measured. Data value (single measurement): is the value of variable for one /single experimental unit. Ex: the prof is the experimental unit and his height is a variable so the height number you get is the data or measurement explained below.
