Tantalus son of zeus begins the curse of the family. Tantalus wanted to test the omniscience of the gods, he was beloved of the gods. He took his own son, murdered him, chopped him up and made him into stew to feed to the gods, and they found out. Demeter ate a little, zeus put the kid back, pelops, and pelops had an ivory shoulder. Pelops was the greatest local hero in ellys. Pelops said whoever wants to marry his daughter has to beat him in a chariot race, but his horses were from posidon and the fastest in the world. Pellops and hippodamia (his daughter) went, he cheated though. Bribed myrtilos, he wanted to wax the others wheels so it would break when it got fast enough. Mytrilos thought if he did it he could sleep with. Hippodamia, when he tries to grab her, pelops throws him off the mountain. Curse of the house of atreus (son of pelops)
