If you"re doing this as a unit (family, husband and wife, friends) that is health promotion which is a collective achievement. Who defines health promotion as: the process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve, their health. Media (extremely responsible for what they do/preach; good and bad promotion) Proposed the concept of the health field . People didn"t see health as a concept that was something we could manage; take control of; if you got sick, you went to the doctor and that was it. First modern government document in the western world to acknowledge that our emphasis upon a biomedical health care system is wrong. Patterns of disease have shifted over 70 years.
