Was it self defence? irst atempt to make due process work for women. In most cases women would not qualify or fall into the batered women syndrome some domesic violence cases end up charging the vicim: walker"s cycle of violence. Tried to understand why women stay in abusive relaionships. Theory: learned helplessness is a three stage cycle of violence. Illustrated why feminists didn"t like the focus on vicims.
