COMM 2102 Lecture 5: week 5
Document Summary
Phenomenology is the study of human conscious experience-how we come to be aware about and interact with the things around us. We should be thinking about communicaion about more than just the gadget we use. Last week the argument was about we need to come about that communicaion is more about the senses. To think about the relaionship about the experience, to think about other things around us that mediates. Last week we were talking about the senses. We can think about the senses in two diferent ways. One is physiological, how the eyes, ears works. The other one is more perpetual which is what we do about the senses we have. How we perceive a touch, a taste, something that we hear. Noise is a good example because there is a ine line between whether something is a sound and whether something is noise.
