Beaver lodges have lots of sticks, muskrat lodges don"t. Beavers eat aspen trees that they store in the beside their lodge. The beavers store their food just off of their lodge and they dive under the water to their food pile and bring the food back to their lodge. As a group together they ate called a cr che. Egg dumping: when a duck puts her egg into another nest to let the other duck do the incubating for her. Advantages to egg dumping: making sure that even if the ducks nest is attacked there will be a chance for her to have at least one ducking. Cuckoo birds are also facultative brood parasitism sometimes go into the nest of the other type (black-billed and yellow-billed) of cuckoo bird, mimic their call and lay their egg there. Opossums give birth to over 20 babies but only have 13 nipples so only the strongest.
