He was concerned with every world religion except islam. He focused on breakthrough or turning points. the protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism (1904), weber analyzed the developed of the capitalist mode of economic development in the west. Economic traditionalism is defined as sloth, tradition, and recklessness. Most traditional society, work was not admired because it was for slaves, and for women. With the protestant age, there were major differences in attitudes to work and wealth accumulation in pre-industrial and industrial societies.
